Alexander Kabanov is a Ukrainian poet, born in 1968 in the city of Kherson and lives in Kyiv. Author of 14 books of poems and numerous publications in magazines and newspapers. Alexander Kabanov's poems have been translated into all major European languages, as well as into Dutch, Polish, Belarusian, Finnish, Italian, Serbian, Georgian, and Hebrew. Laureate of the “Antologia” prize (2010) for the highest achievements in modern poetry in Russian, the “New World” magazine prize, the International Voloshin Prize, etc.
“Source” is the poet’s first book published in Israel.
