Spirit of War

The novel by Ksenia Kirillova - a writer, political analyst, recognized in Russia as a foreign agent - “The Spirit of War”, and this spirit is clearly felt there even in seemingly peaceful cities. 

This is both a continuation of the story begun in the novel “Allies” and an independent work.

The book takes place in 2025. There appears, among other things, the topic of Russian deserters with their characteristic “nullifications”, and new operations abroad, only this time by Ukrainian, and not Russian special services, and a teenager - a former “Yunarman”. And, of course, Slava and Bogdan meet there again, only this time they seem to change roles. For Bogdan, expediency and results become more important to you, but Slava, on the contrary, is affected by the moral aspect.

The book contains a theme close to the author’s own experience of the persecution of Russian dissidents abroad. And, of course, new realities pose new moral problems for the heroes. Instead of Belgrade, the main location this time is sunny Tbilisi with its unique flavor and hidden historical pearls and secrets of the past.
